Teleena launches BlackBerry® service in NL

Teleena announced it will be offering the BlackBerry® service as part of its mobile wholesale services in the the Netherlands, enabling its partners to offer BlackBerry® Enterprise Server to their corporate customers and BlackBerry® Internet Service to smaller businesses and individual users. The service was launched on november 25, the Surinamese Indepencence day (Srefidensi Dey) for TeleSur, the MVNO that offers a multi-country solution for Surinam and the Netherlands.

Teleena offers innovative mobile services to Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) that want to introduce their own mobile brands in The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Poland.  Teleena's CEO, Philip Macridis:  “Being able to offer BlackBerry® services to our MVNOs is of great strategic importance to us, as many of their customers wish to take full advantage of the BlackBerry® solution”.

Teleena adds Poland to its European Network

Nieuwegein - Warsaw nov. 2012

Teleena signed a wholesale agreement with Polkomtel, owner of the Plus Polish Mobile Network. This agreement grants Teleena access to the mobile radio network and enables its wholesale clients (MVNOs) to offer full range of mobile services for Poland. “This is our third European country rollout after the Netherlands and the UK, and a great step towards our goal to reach 200m population coverage during 2013” says Philip Macridis, CEO Teleena.

The EAFM was created by its six founding members Liberty Global, NRJ Mobile, OMEA Telecom, Teleena, Telenet and Transatel to represent the interests of companies which are active on European mobile markets and independent, in terms of ownership and control, from established mobile network operators (MNOs).

Following on the mobile data proposition that UPC Business launched in 2010 for its business customers, UPC Netherlands now also introduces mobile internet for the consumer market. 

Like the business proposition, this consumer product was introduced in the unique partnership between UPC Netherlands, Vodafone and Teleena in which on behalf of Vodafone we built this proposition for UPC.
