The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a set of regulations established by the EU that will be enforced after May 25th, 2018 and aims to strengthen the security and protection of personal data. It applies to all types of organizations operating within the EU, regardless if they are located in Europe, and to all individual data, despite if it concerns an EU citizen.
